The layout of the facility is illustrated on the ATW floor plan.  This 5,725-square-foot, state-of-the-art building (see photo) provides all the facilities needed for precision welding operations.
     a.    Loading Dock.  The Loading Dock is where new work and supplies arrive by way of either an ATW driver or a delivery service.  Garage doors, an overhead hoist, and a 5000-pound forklift are available for loading/unloading large, heavy items. Here, incoming packages are inspected and delivered to either the Job Check-In Area or to inventory storage shelves.  Facilities for cleaning and packaging items that are ready for return to the customer are located in the Loading Dock, which also includes a Bathroom.  The Loading Dock is the place where gas cylinders, the source of the shield gas used in welding, are stored.
     b.    Job Check-In Area.  The Job Check-In Area is located in the central space within the main work area.  This is the area where welding strategies are determined, job tickets are filled out, and tasks are assigned to the welding crew.
